Megan Wilkerson is a scenic designer currently in residence as a design assistant at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, OR. She received an After Dark award for her scenic design for Rivendell’s production of Psalms of a Questionable Nature, and is happy to have been involved in the ongoing work of the Fresh Produce series as well as last season’s production of The Walls. Prior to 2008 Megan was based in Milwaukee, where she designed scenery for The Skylight, Ain't Misbehavin'; The Milwaukee Rep, Little by Little, Sophie Tucker, 2 Pianos, 4 Hands, and A Christmas Carol as an Associate; Renaissance Theaterworks, Boswell's Dreams, String of Pearls, and The Dig; Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Talking Heads; Next Act, Rough Crossing and Paradise; and First Stage Children's Theatre, Miss Nelson is Missing; as well as various projects with the artistic collective Bad Soviet Habits. She is currently designing the sets for the Rogue Valley Opera’s production of The Marriage of Figaro. Megan holds an MFA in Scenic Design from The University of Texas at Austin, and has worked as a theatre educator in Minnesota, Texas, Michigan, Wisconsin and Virginia.
