Victoria (toy) DeIorio is a founding member of RTE, a member of Lifeline Theatre, and an artistic associate of The Next Theatre. Her sound design for RTE productions: Holy Days, Ghosts in the Cottonwoods, The Clink, Factory Girls, Faulkner’s Bicycle, Silence, Knowing Cairo, Expecting Isabel, Fighting Words and the NY version of Elliot, a Soldier’s Fugue. Victoria was part of the Jeff Award Winning Ensemble of WRENS, and was seen on stage in Holy Days and Factory Girls. She has directed Stigmata (which she also wrote) for RTE's Fresh Produce; a staged reading of Night Light by Robert Smith; Sunday on the Rocks at Bailiwick Theatre; and 365 Days, 365 Plays, and The True Story of the Three Little Pigs! at Lifeline Theatre. Off-Broadway sound design: The Bluest Eye with Steppenwolf at The Duke Theatre; Ophelia at the NYC Fringe Fest; The God of Hell at the Actor’s Studio (Associate); Dedication or the Stuff of Dreams at Primary Stages (Associate); Live Girls at Urban Stages (Associate); Luminescence Dating at Ensemble Studio Theatre (Associate); and Boy at Primary Stages (Associate). Regionally she has worked with The Goodman, Steppenwolf Theatre, LA Theatre Works, Indiana Repertory, Milwaukee Shakespeare, Renaissance TheatreWorks, Milwaukee Rep, Victory Gardens, Northlight Theatre, Chautauqua Theatre Company, People’s Light and Theatre, and Geva Theatre. In Chicago she has designed productions with Writers’ Theatre, The Next Theatre, Remy Bumppo, Lifeline, Light Opera Works, and other storefront theatres. She has been nominated for 9 Joseph Jefferson Awards - winning 5, and she has received 2 After Dark Awards.
